The Clear 5kg version has a different purpose from Black, Grey and White. It is the appearance-led option for translucent repairs where a strong visible colour patch is not wanted. • Inspect the roof: Replace or refix broken, slipped, cracked or missing tiles, slates, sheets or roof coverings before applying the compound.
• Prepare the surface: Remove loose debris, dirt, dust, grease, algae, fungal growth and unstable material from the repair area.
• Prime where needed: Sound non-porous surfaces may not need primer, but porous, friable or difficult surfaces should be primed with a compatible bitumen and flashing primer.
• Stir before use: Stir the product well before applying.
