Using a Clamp Guide to Make a Straight Cut

This demonstration shows the full process of achieving a perfectly straight cut on a large timber panel. Start by positioning the aluminium guide rail onto the material and marking the desired cut line. Next, move the adjustable sliding jaw along the track until it rests against the far edge of the wood. Firmly engage the one-handed locking mechanism. This action secures the guide rail in place. This clamping method makes sure that the guide will not shift at all during the cut. Once locked, the guide is ready for straight-line cutting.

Position the circular saw against the guide’s fence and use the track to keep the line straight. Begin cutting slowly, running the saw base along the aluminium track. This guide system removes the need for freehand sawing or unreliable straight edges, such as scrap timber. It also reduces potential errors and wood waste. The result is a precise, clean, professional cut. Use this simple method on wooden boards, door panels, sheet materials, and more. The adjustable guide works on various lengths and widths. The accessory is shown on both wide and narrow wood to show its wide use.
