The Silverline Plastic Paint Kettle is a 1.5-litre container designed for easy handling when working with paints, adhesives, or pastes.

Who This Product Is For

This container suits those working on small-scale projects where larger mixing vessels would be impractical. It works for both trade professionals and individuals completing home maintenance tasks.

The kettle fits jobs requiring precise mixing of limited quantities, such as touch-up painting, wallpaper hanging, or small adhesive applications.

Key Features

• Polypropylene body: Resists common chemicals and wipes clean with minimal effort.
• 1.5-litre capacity: Works for smaller jobs or mixing limited quantities.
• Multi-purpose use: Suitable for paint, adhesive, paste, and similar materials.
• Reduced surface area: Slows evaporation to help preserve contents.
• Flexible use: Can also store nails, screws, or tools while working at height.

Practical Applications

• Mixing small quantities of paint or epoxy.
• Preparing wallpaper paste efficiently.
• Storing tools, screws, or fittings while on ladders or scaffolding.
• Completing quick repairs or touch-ups in tight spaces.

How This Fits Into a Typical Job

This container typically appears during the preparation phase of a project. After selecting materials, users mix small batches directly in the kettle before application.

During work, it holds mixed materials ready for use, and its compact size allows placement in confined areas. After finishing, it simplifies clean-up as any remaining material can be disposed of and the container rinsed.

Benefits

• Reduces waste by allowing accurate small-batch mixing.
• Compact and stackable for better storage efficiency.
• Helps keep contents usable for longer during tasks.
• Non-stick surface simplifies post-use cleaning.

Instructions for Use

1. Prepare the container: Make sure it is clean and dry.
2. Add contents: Pour in the paint, adhesive, or paste as needed.
3. Mix thoroughly: Stir to a consistent blend using a suitable tool.
4. Apply: Use a brush, roller, or spreader directly from the kettle.
5. After use: Empty remaining material and rinse with warm water or an appropriate solvent.

Storage and Maintenance

• Rinse after each use to avoid dried residue.
• Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
• Avoid exposure to direct heat to maintain the kettle’s shape.
