Quick Product Summary: Sika Block Paving Fix is a moisture-curing Buff jointing compound developed for narrow block-paving joints. It is suitable for joint widths from 2mm to 5mm, with 3–4mm being the preferred range, and requires a minimum joint depth of 25mm. Once cured, it forms a firm joint that is less likely to wash out than loose jointing sand.

How To Apply
- Make sure the paving is dry and free from loose dirt, oil, grease and debris.
- Check that joints are 2–5mm wide and at least 25mm deep.
- Do not pre-fill the joints with ordinary sand; the compound should fill the complete joint depth.
- Rake or stir the contents thoroughly and discard any hard lumps.
- Work in manageable sections and sweep the compound fully into the joints.
- Brush excess material from the paving surface before it begins to harden.
- Thoroughly soak the filled joints using a hose on spray or a watering can with a rose. Do not use a pressure washer for activation.
- Rinse away remaining material from the paving surface before curing begins.

After Application
The paved area can be walked on immediately after activation, although leaving it undisturbed while it dries can help achieve the best finish.
- Typical initial drying time is around 1–2 days.
- Full curing can take up to 28 days depending on weather and temperature.
- Wait at least 28 days before pressure washing the finished joints.
- When pressure washing after curing, keep the nozzle at least 10cm from the jointing material.
Before You Buy
- Do not apply below +5°C or when temperatures are expected to fall below this during drying.
- Avoid application when rain is imminent.
- The paving and joints should be well drained.
- Do not use where the joints will be permanently immersed in water.
- Test a small inconspicuous area first, as the natural aggregate colour can appear different beside different paving materials.
- Do not add extra sand to the product.

Joint WidthA:It is designed for narrow joints between approximately 2mm and 5mm wide. Joints around 3–4mm wide are the preferred range.
Q:How deep do the paving joints need to be?
Joint DepthA:The joints should be at least 25mm deep. Sika Block Paving Fix should fill the complete joint depth rather than being applied over ordinary jointing sand.
Q:Can Sika Block Paving Fix be used on driveways?
Driveway UseA:Yes. It is suitable for domestic block-paved driveways subject to light vehicle traffic, as well as paths, walkways and patio areas.
